Welcome to Thropton Demesne Farmhouse B&B
For over 20 years, Thropton Demesne Farmhouse has been a popular, family-run B&B, from its location at the end of a private lane at the western edge of the historic village of Thropton. From 1334, the Demesne farm steading formed part of the Percy Estate until, in 1882, the farmhouse and lands were acquired by Lord William Armstrong as part of his Cragside Estate. Now in private ownership, Thropton Demesne Farmhouse offers guests, from all over the world, the best in Northumbrian hospitality combined with a relaxed atmosphere and a location from which to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Coquetdale, the Simonside Hills and the nearby Northumberland National Park.
